I've been having a lot of fun playing with AI in my free time. And while I was seeing everyone make funny things with it, I thought to myself...what stupid idea could I come up with?
So I present to you, my stupid idea: What if famous preachers had said Captain America's "You Move" line?
And for good measure, what could Dall-E do with my limited knowledge and prompting skills to get a comic drawing of the pastors. Warning: It's bad.
So let's get into it, starting with the OG Cap panel for reference:
And here we go...
Joel Osteen: "Friends, it doesn't matter what the press is saying, nor the politicians, nor even the mobs. You see, this great nation of ours was founded on one divine principle: standing up for what you believe in. Now, when the world tells you to move, I want you to imagine yourself as a beautiful, prosperous tree planted by the rivers of truth. Look at the whole world and with a big, warm smile say, 'No, you move, my friend.'"
TD Jakes: "You see, brothers and sisters, it doesn't matter what the press or politicians say. It doesn't matter if the whole nation decides something wrong is right. This nation was founded on a principle! The principle that you stand up for what you believe in, no matter the cost! So when the world says 'move', you better plant yourself like a tree by the river of truth, and with the voice of a lion, roar: 'No, you move!'"
Andy Stanley: "So, what do you do when the press, the politicians, and the mobs are all saying something different? You know what? This nation was founded on the idea that we stand up for our beliefs, even if it's tough. So, next time the whole world is telling you to move, think of yourself as a tree beside the river of truth, and just say, 'No, you move. I'm sticking with truth.'"
Rick Warren: "It's not about what the press says or what the politicians say, or even the mobs. This nation was founded on a single, purpose-driven principle: standing up for our beliefs, no matter the consequences. So when the world tells you to move, you should plant yourself like a tree by the river of truth, and with love and humility, tell the world, 'No, you move.'"
David Platt: "Press, politicians, mobs, it doesn't matter. Our nation was founded on standing firm in our beliefs, regardless of the opposition. When the world tries to uproot you, be like a tree planted firmly by the river of truth. Look at the world with conviction and say, 'No, you move.'"
John Piper: "It doesn't matter what the press or the politicians say, or even the mobs. This nation was founded on the weighty principle of standing for what we believe in, despite the odds. So, when the world tells you to move, be like a tree planted beside the river of God's truth, and with a heart full of passion for His glory, declare: 'No, you move.'"
Francis Chan: "Guys, it doesn't matter what the press or politicians are saying, or even the mobs. This nation was founded on one important principle: standing up for our beliefs, regardless of the cost. When the world tells you to move, just remember to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of God's truth, and with a spirit of radical faith, tell them, 'No, you move.'"
